Above is a photograph of the first Grand Entry that occurred at the 11th Annual Veterans Pow-Wow held at the 4-H Building in Holton, Kansas on November 15. A large crowd listened to the beats of Little Soldier, The Agency and Whistling Wind drumming groups and watched dancers perform in their beautiful regalia. Other activities at the pow-wow included a silent auction, raffles, a Native American food concession stand, and Native American arts and crafts vendor booths. The pow-wow was sponsored by We-Ta-Se American Legion Post 410 and the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
