The FDA has Authorized a Second Booster Dose of COVID-19 Vaccines for Older and Immunocompromised Individuals
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized a second booster dose of either the Pfizer-BioNTech or the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for people over 50 and certain immunocompromised individuals as long as it has been at least four months since receipt of a first booster. Anyone who is over 50 years of age or immunocompromised should contact the Prairie Band Potawatomi Health Center at (785) 966-8220 to schedule their booster. Individuals who have not yet received the Vaccine or their first booster are encouraged to contact the Health Center as well.
