The Golfweek National Pro Tour is being held this week at Firekeeper Golf Course where 156 golfers are competing for a $150,000 purse.
Four-time PGA winner Notah Begay (fifth from left) played a practice round this morning and was joined in the photograph with Junior Wahweotten (third) and Pete King (fourth). The other golfers are KC Lim, San Antonio, Texas (far left) Ian Ford, Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada, and Dodge Kemmer, San Mateo, Calif. (far right). Wahweotten is a member of the PBPN Tribal Council and King works for Prairie Band L.L.C.
Begay in the fairway on hole number 1.
Begay and Ford on number 2. Firekeeper has been open for a little over a year and is Begay’s first signature course. The tournament begins tomorrow and will run until Friday.
