The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation has several committee openings. Enrolled tribal members are eligible to fill these openings.
Title XII Committee – 5 positions
A newly established committee in which members will review Title XII for compliance with any new guidance or regulations imposed by the National Indian Gaming Commission or any other necessary changes.
Land Committee – 1 position
The mission of the Land Management Committee is to protect and regain national land. Members meet monthly at the Lands Management building located on K Road.
Enrollment Committee – 1 position
Members are appointed for 2-year terms. Members meet monthly at the Government Center to review enrollment applications.
The process for applicants includes:
- Submit a letter of interest and resume
- Submit documents to the Tribal Council Secretary’s Office, send by email to lorriewahwassuck@pbpnation.org or mail to 16281 Q Road, Mayetta, KS, 66509.
- Submissions must be received by February 1, 2019.
