Tribal Chair Steve Ortiz presented a Pendleton blanket and a framed copy of a Tribal Council Resolution that proclaims the Tribe’s sincere congratulations and best wishes to Rev. Charles Chaput, left, at a luncheon yesterday in Philadelphia that preceded Chaput’s installation as Archbishop of Philadelphia. Tribal member Jerry Tuckwin, right, is also in the photograph. Ortiz and Tuckwin and his wife, Terry were invited to Chaput’s installation and have been in Philadelphia the past few days. Chaput, 66, is a tribal member and had family that resided on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation at one time.
