Kevin Gover (sitting center), director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian, came to the common land today to have an outreach meeting with Tribal Council. Gover is a member of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma and has been director of the National Museum of the American Indian since 2007. Flanking Gover on his left is Joyce Guerrero, and to his right is Jancita Warrington. In back, left to right, is Carrie O’Toole and Junior Wahweotten. The meeting was held in Tribal Council chambers.
