ATTENTION ELDERS
For the next 2 weeks the ceiling in the kitchen is being repaired. Therefore, we will be making some changes to the meal service provided by the Elder Center. We ask for your cooperation during this change.
We will be moving the meal preparation and serving to the BINGO Hall. This will begin on Monday January 14th. It is scheduled to last at least 2 weeks.
We will continue regular Home Bound deliveries and pickups. We will transport Elders from the Elder Center to the Bingo Hall if you would like to go there to eat lunch. We will leave the Elder Center at 11:00 am and return you here to the Elder Center by 12:45 or close to that time. If you wish to ride to the temporary mealsite you must be here by 10:50 a.m.You are welcome to drive to the temporary mealsite on your own if you wish. Meals will be served the regular hour 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The EMT’s will be at the Bingo Hall to provide their regular service; blood pressure and blood sugar checks. Do not call the kitchen to reserve meals. Call 966-2103, 966-0040 or 966-0041 to reserve a meal by 10:30.
The MENU WILL CHANGE. ALL MEALS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE BINGO HALL BY 12:30. There will be NO MEALS AVAILABLE FROM THE ELDER CENTER!!!
The Elder Center will be closed from 11:00 a.m. until we return after lunch. The doors will be locked.
Regular activity will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and after we reopen after lunch (around 1:00) for regular afternoon activity in the Elder Center. Some activity such as shopping, might begin a little late. The times for exercise and walks are being changed to different times. Cody Wilson will work this out and let us know the times.
THIS WILL WORK OUT SO YOU RECEIVE A MEAL. IT IS MAKING SOME EXTRA WORK ON THE STAFF HERE AT THE ELDER CENTER SO PLEASE GIVE US YOUR COOPERATION AND PATIENCE. WE ARE DOING OUR BEST TO CONTINUE SERVICES.
