MAYETTA: High school seniors (and their parents) who want to go to college next year and need financial aid should attend a workshop sponsored by the PBPN Education Department this coming Wednesday, March 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the computer lab located on the lower level of the Government Center.
A representative from Rasmussen College will help conduct the workshop that is designed to teach applicants how to fill out federal financial aid forms.
Students need to bring a completed 2014 tax returns (both student and parent), driver’s license and Social Security card. Before the workshop they should visit thewww.fafsa.ed.gov website to apply for a PIN which will be needed to sign and submit the FAFA application. Deadline to file in Kansas is April 1.
