TOPEKA, KS – Anna Marie Miranda Wooten, 78. Passed peacefully January 24, 2021, surrounded by her family at her niece Sonja Alejos’ home in Topeka, KS.
Marie was born December 26, 1942, in Topeka, the daughter of Cirildo V. Miranda and Bernadette Kitchkommie. Marie married her husband Ritchie in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death in October 2020. Together they owned Wooten & Associates Appraisal. Marie was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #752 & Ritchie Men of the Moose #636, where they were active members. Marie belonged to Sacred Heart Parish, Eureka, CA.
She is survived by Connie Miranda, Rosalie Whayne, Jonie and Robert Miranda, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and, great-great nieces and nephews. Life long friends, Mikey & Pat Hill of Eureka, CA and Carol Allen Johnson of Topeka, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Ernest Miranda & sister Angela “LaLa” Miranda. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 3, 10-12 p.m. at Chapel Oaks, 235 SW Topeka Blvd. Topeka, KS.
