TOHATCHI, NM – Funeral services for Aschely Janieve Levier, 20, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at the Tohatchi United Pentecostal Church. Martin Eastridge will officiate. Burial will be on a Halona family plot in Tohatchi.
Levier was born July 30, 1996, in Gallup, into the Keepers of the Fire People Clan born for the Salt People Clan.
Levier graduated from Tohatchi High School. She was in love with nature, animals and life. Levier enjoyed music and was a natural artist. She was always active and took care of her family, grandparents, brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her mother Delaine Levier, brothers Marcellus Levier and Zavier Levier, sisters Aiyana Levier and Jaelyn Levier, and grandparents Kee and Winifred Muskett. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Arthur M. Levier Jr. and Ruth E. Levier and father Jay Levier.
Pallbearers will be Seth Simasingh, Kyrin Harrison, Christopher Martin, Jeremy Bitsilly, Nathan Conway and Benjamin Asteen.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Tohatchi Chapter House.
