Dona Sue Snyder (Cebe-kwe)
August 28, 1965 – January 22, 2025.
Born in Chicago, IL on August 28, 1965, to Gladys Levier. Dona was adopted by the Snyder family on her third birthday in Topeka. In her childhood she was very adventurous and an avid swimmer.
Dona was a wonderful mother to Rikki and Kaitlyn, and a grandmother to Maya. She was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. She worked for a number of years in Maintenance for the tribal Housing Department. A talented Artist, she worked in a variety of mediums, with a focus in pottery. Dona studied art at Haskell and Washburn University.
Preceded in death by her grandmother Eva Lesley-Levier, mother Gladys Levier, adopted parents Gail and Sandra Snyder, sister Tina Snyder, and nephew Stephen Matthew. Survived by her children, Rikki and Kaitlyn Kluber, granddaughter Maya Hernandez, brother Stephen Snyder (Judy Snyder), niece Jessica Anderson, nephew Jason Snyder, sister Sheryl Brann, nephew Christopher Brann, niece Catherine Trammell, and her loyal dog Boomer.
She was laid to rest on January 24th, at Shipshee Cemetery.
