Michael L. Anderson Obituary

Michael L. Anderson

Michael L. Anderson, 48, Oskaloosa died Friday, April 18 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 28, 1960 the son of Ralph Eugene and Theresa Mary Pappan Anderson and was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Mike was a graduate of Oskaloosa High School. He operated Anderson Trenching and Anderson Body Shop, and also worked for the Jefferson County Water District #7. He married Cynthia “Cindy” Doubrava Gerken, on April 14, 2001. She survives of the home. He is also survived by his mother, Theresa Anderson, Oskaloosa, a step-daughter Amanda and her husband Steven Radcliffe, Oskaloosa, a step-son Scott Vandiver, Amarillo, Texas, and a sister Brenda Anderson, Omaha, Neb. He was preceded in death by his father in November of 1993. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
