Tina Rose Oliver
January 20, 1964 – March 23, 2024

Tina Rose “Mon-Yon” Oliver, 60, of Topeka, KS, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 23, 2024 at her home. She was born January 20, 1964 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Howard Kinton and Melvene Lois (Matchie) Oliver.

Tina earned her GED. She proudly served in the United States Air Force and Kansas Air National Guard for over 20 years. During her enlistment, she also provided support services during Operation Desert Shield and Storm.

Tina was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. She was an avid animal lover and had many “fur babies”.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Melvene Oliver; 2 sisters, Audrey Oliver and Leah Zakar and brother, Shaun Alvin LaBranch.

Survivors include her father, Howard K. Oliver of Topeka, KS; son, Patrick Oliver (Alison) of Topeka, KS; daughter, Michelle Manrose of Topeka, KS; 4 sisters, Deb McLinn (Phil) of Topeka, KS, Nancy Henry (Roger) of Mayetta, KS, Misti Burns (Chris) of Wylie, TX and Linda LaBranch of Paola, KS; brother, John Zakar, Jr. of Valdosta, GA and 3 grandchildren.

Tina laid in state at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton on Friday, March 29, 2024 with a visitation in the evening.

Graveside Service was held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Danceground Cemetery, with Military Honors by Wa-Ta-Se American Legion Post 410.
