Wade Louis Hinman
July 13, 1957 – March 23, 2025

Wade Louis Hinman, 67, of Mayetta, KS, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 at The Pines in Holton. He was born July 13, 1957 in Holton, KS, the son of Ray and Gwyn (Daugherty) Hinman.

Wade graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1975. He was a machinist at Burlington Northern Santa Fe, retiring after 30+ years.

He was a member of Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

Wade married Judy Martin on November 24, 1979 in Denison, KS; they celebrated over 45 years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; his mother, Gwyn Hinman of Holton, KS; 2 daughters, Jennifer Kern (John) of Denison, KS and Angela Dugan (Kelly) of Topeka, KS; son, Andrew Hinman (Breann)of Holton, KS; sister, Rosa Thomas (Willy) of Whiting, KS; brother, Lee Hinman (Lori) of Valley Falls, KS and 5 grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Denison Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Cards of condolence may be sent to Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
