MAYETTA: The Harvesters rural mobile food pantry distribution has changed its delivery dates from the first Friday of every month to the third Monday of every month beginning in April.
On Monday, April 18 the Harvesters food bank truck will stop at the Buffalo Drive Community building on 158 Road from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Harvesters is the only food bank that serves 26 counties of northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. Distributions of fresh, nutritious food is loaded into cars from the food bank truck by volunteers in the community. Harvesters has also partnered with the Johnson County Ministerial Alliance(JCMA) on the project.
