MAYETTA: Jancita Warrington was sworn in to Tribal Council this morning at the Bingo Hall before a large crowd. She was appointed by the Tribal Council and will go to work today with her term expiring in 2012.
Steve Ortiz, Tribal Council chairperson, conducted the oath of office ceremony with the rest of the Tribal Council present. A large crowd was on hand to witness the ceremony and to greet Warrington in a receiving line afterward. Refreshments were also served.
