May 28, 2015 –
MAYETTA: There was lots of old rock and roll dancing yesterday at a sock hop sponsored by the Caregiver Support program. Volunteers from Social Services, the Diabetes Prevention program and the Language Department also helped make the event a success that celebrated the 50th anniversary of Older Americans Month. Several dancers and spectators turned out for the fun and music was provided by Larry and Mona Cole from Texas who were back for a visit.
