May 20, 2008 – A new Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation (PBPN) website full of colorful photographs and up-to-date information is now available for Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation members to enjoy.
For the past few months Jackie Mitchell, Tribal Council member, and other employees and members of the Nation have been collecting information for the site. Photographs and data about the PBPN government, tribal departments and programs and lots of other information are now available online along with contemporary and historical photo galleries of Potawatomi people and events.
The website is divided into several sections including those on history and culture, government, housing, and education, to name a few. In addition, the website has been designed to keep members informed on current events with a News and Press section, Calendar of Events page and a listing of current job openings that are available through the PBPN Human Resources Department.
Tribal members can also access the PBPN Constitution, the PBPN Nation’s phone list and have questions answered through a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page or Contact Us page. There is also a page dedicated to linking to tribal members’ websites and the Prairie Band Casino & Resort.
