Representatives from the National Health Services Corps (NHSC) came to the PBP Health Center today to gain information about the health center as a site for placing physicians and other medical professionals who are in the NHSC scholarship program. The representatives visited with Chairman Steve Ortiz and Health Center Administrator Mary Truhe at a morning meeting and then Truhe took them on a tour of the facility afterward.

Yesterday’s Tour
A KanCare tribal consultation meeting was held yesterday at the Prairie Band Casino & Resort and following the meeting, a tour was given of the Prairie Band Health Center by Carrie O’Toole, Tribal Council member (far left), and Mary Truhe, health center administrator,,(far right). Second, is Trevlyn Cross from the Oklahoma City Area Inter-tribal Health Board and Jennifer Cooper, an attorney for the National Indian Health Board.
