PBPN Chair Has Chat With Governor Brownback at Capitol

Last Monday afternoon Chairman Steve Ortiz was at the Capitol for a meeting with Gov. Sam Brownback that took place on the steps of the Capitol building.  The purpose of the meeting was to allow the governor to get a first-hand account of tribal concerns and issues. Brownback also met with other Kansas tribal chairs last week. In the photo, clockwise, is Bob Murray, Gov. Brownback, Chairman Ortiz and Chris Howell.  Howell and Murray are on Brownback’s staff.
