The Community Talent Show is being held at the Rock Building that is next to the Government Center at 7p.m. The concession stand opens at 6 p.m. and Lewis said there are some great acts this year by members from the community.  Admission is $3 at the door with proceeds from the door going to whoever wins the contest.

Tomorrow Lewis will participate in the Mayetta Pioneer Day parade that begins at 3 p.m. downtown.  Tribal Council Secretary Jim Potter and tribal member Judy Darnell, who are both active in the Mayetta Business Association, will help coordinate the Pioneer Day activities that begin at 7:30 a.m. with a biscuit and gravy breakfast.  Besides the parade, there will be demonstrations, games, entertainment and an auction throughout the day and shopping in the stores.
