Members of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation are hereby notified that an Election will be held on July 24, 2021, for the purpose of electing two (2) members of the Gaming Commission. Gaming Commissioner #1 and Gaming Commissioner #2. The term of office for each position is four (4) years.
This election shall be conducted in accordance with the Constitution and Election Ordinance of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
Automated Election Services of Rio Rancho, New Mexico will assist the Election Board with this election.
Candidate filing is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 19 to April 30, 2021. Declaration of Candidacy form and photograph must be returned by this date.
Candidates may pay the non-refundable filing fee of $150 by card, cashier’s check or money order payable to Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Election Board. Absolutely no cash or personal checks will be accepted.
Candidates must contact Member Services at 785-966-3910 to arrange an appointment to turn in documents and pay the filing fee.
