MAYETTA: The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Finance Department has been working long and hard this week to finish the mail out of 1099misc. tax forms that were mailed to members yesterday.
The Department also had some fun while working together to celebrate the retirement of Walt Racker who has been in Purchasing since 2005. Employees wore neckties in honor of Walt (part of Walt’s signature dress) and held a potluck luncheon for him.
Below are some photos taken yesterday:
Most of the Finance Department staff helped with the mail out of the 1099s so they will get to members in time for tax season.
Sitting on the front row, center, is Walt Racker whose last day in the Finance Department is today. Surrounding him are PBPN employees who wore neckties yesterday in his honor. A reception will also be held today in the Government Center to wish him well.
