Prairie Band Construction wins first award utilizing SBA 8(a) Certification


February 6, 2019 – Prairie Band Construction, Inc. (PBC) has been awarded a $4 Million contract for the Directorate of Public Works on Fort Leavenworth, KS utilizing the SBA’s 8(a) Program. The contract will consist of individual Task Orders for Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization Construction projects on Fort Leavenworth. Work facilities may include: administrative, industrial, warehouses, and other support type facilities.

Greg Sharp, PB Construction Manager, said: “Our significant investment of time and effort is paying off. We have a fantastic team that are eager to provide quality support to the U.S. Army’s mission. This is the first award of many to come.”
