MAYETTA: Mike Mills, Potawatomi Tribal Fire Department Chief, has announced that in the event of severe weather that causes long power outages or other events residents need to take shelter or to relocate at the following locations if necessary:

Community members should go to the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Boys & Girls Club, 15424 K Road. (Please note that this is a change from the Bingo Hall).

Elder community members (50 and older) should report to the Firekeepers Elder Center, 15372 K Road.

Residents are asked to bring toiletry items, medications and bedding, etc. if possible.
