Due to medical circumstances and conditions beyond her control, Juanita Jessepe, Tribal Council Member #3, has relinquished her position with the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Tribal Council to focus on her health and her family effective April 4, 2018. Although unable to fulfill the commitment of her elected position, Juanita’s dedication to her people remains strong and constant as it has throughout her life. Juanita will continue to advocate for her people and remain as actively engaged with tribal government and business as she possibly can.
The Tribal Council of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation sincerely thanks Juanita for her most recent term on the Tribal Council as well as her previous years of service on this body. The Nation also wishes to recognize her unwavering advocacy for the community and the traditions of the Prairie Band Potawatomi people as a respected community member and elder. We wish Juanita the very best and look forward to remaining engaged with her in working for our Potawatomi people.
