Due to personal issues, Thomas Wabnum, Tribal Council Member #2, relinquished his position with the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation effective April 22, 2019. The demands of public service require time away from home, and eventually takes a toll, according to Wabnum, who plans to attend to the needs of his family.

Thomas began his public service in 1977 and continually worked for the betterment of Indian Country. The Tribal Council of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation thanks Wabnum for his recent years of service on the Tribal Council beginning in 2012, as well as his previous years of service on this body.
