Youth Language Wins Awards

MAYETTA:  Some students in the PBPN Language Department’s Youth Language program won first and second place awards at the Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair in Norman, Oklahoma on April 7 and 8.

Jessica Youngbird, who is an instructor in the Language Department, wrote in an email:  We are super proud to have gotten the opportunity to have worked with such a great group of kids.  We want to send out a big thank you to the parents and community members for all their support.  We look forward to next year’s competition and representing the Prairie Band Potawatomi again.
